Needing Help
It’s January 2022.
Jeff was really unhappy.
He was low on his self esteem & wouldn’t even look at himself in the mirror.
At the time, he was 350lb. He was overweight and saw a grim future if he didn’t take action.
He decided he needed help if wanted to take control and improve his life.
Emotions Experiencing:
Jeff took the 1st step and booked a free consultation. He was scared, nervous and didn’t know what to expect.
When Jeff and I first sat down in our consultation process he admitted to;
- Severely lacking in self confidence,
- Having really poor eating habits,
- Feeling unhappy with his body and mindset,
- Not showing up as the best man, husband and father he could be.
Jeff admitted he had been dealing with these feelings most of his life.
He was a dad with another child on the way. He shared a big motivation was,
Jeff was at a crossroads. He needed to change.
The Self He Aspired to Become:
Jeff and I spoke for awhile. He shared with me who he wanted to become:
- Improve his self confidence.
- Improve his overall Health and Fitness.
- Lose a lot of weight and body fat.
- Get him in great shape to play with his kids!
- Improve and focus on longevity.
- Become a better man, husband and father because of this.
I spoke to Jeff about commitment.
How his Coaching team would do everything we could for him, but without a strong commitment this wouldn’t work.
Jeff committed.
Not to me. Or to us.
He committed to putting forth the consistency, the effort and building the self discipline to become the man he wanted to be.
He committed to the version of himself he always wanted and knew he could be.
Consultation –> Personal Training
Jeff started Personal Training 12 sessions a month.
Three sessions a week, religiously, for 3 months.
He learned how to lift weights train, built a foundation and began to lose weight.
Initially nervous to be around other people, in fear of judgment, Jeff quickly realized how supportive the environment was.
Even as he was training alone with his Coach, people coming or going would see his effort, work ethic and consistency.
He realized he was acknowledged, supported and lifted. This empowered him.
After just 90 days he was feeling like a new man!
Real Results:
In 90 days, Jeff had lost a significant amount of weight and his confidence had skyrocketed!
Shortly into his journey, he began implementing the Nutritional advice from his Coaches.
It was at this point, the weight began to FLY off of him.
Lifting weights + proper Nutrition = the recipe for success. And Jeff was following it!
His body and mindset were changing. Right in front of us.
The changes in weight, appearance and confidence all motivated Jeff.
The supportive and uplifting environment made it easy for Jeff to learn to enjoy training and it become something he WANTED to do.
It wouldn’t be long before he began training 3-5x a week consistently, now with other people! A big breakthrough for Jeff.
After a year of consistency and commitment in and out of the gym, the results spoke for themselves:
Jeff was down ONE HUNDRED FIFTEEN POUNDS!
Equally impressive, he went from an obese 40% body fat percentage to…
12 percent body fat!
Jeff’s Wife Opened The Door:
A special shout out to Jeff’s wife, Cassie.
Cassie actually began Personal Training at Railroad before Jeff.
A busy and hard working mama,she sought out to better herself, carve out time for her and improve her health and weight.
Her experience at Railroad helped Jeff know this was a safe space where he would be met with open arms, cared for, invested in and met where he was at with love, not judgement.
Ripple Effect Results
Since joining and changing his life, he’s added to his growing family.
Jeff’s transformation motivated his father, at 59 years old, to begin personal training, bettering his life.
[Senior (pictured above) as we call him, would go on to lose 20lbs of body fat and ALSO decrease his body fat percentage to the teens!!!]
Jeff even inspired his mother to begin nutrition coaching, improving her healthy eating habits and health.
Jeff became so empowered he felt comfortable to begin working out with others and is a consistent staple in our large group class. Inspiring our community daily.
He would go on to teach his brother and soon to be sister in law some basics he learned to help their journey.
His business operation grew.
Jeff even branched out and challenged himself to train for and complete 50k trail run…in the pouring rain.
He’d wake up in the middle of the night with his newborn and use that time to read and grow.
He has lost ample body fat to once being obese to now being athletic.
He increased his strength dramatically!
So much so, when he began he struggled to back squat 115lbs.
2+ years later Jeff recently squatted 315lb!
His strength is unreal but almost more impressive is this former overweight man’s newfound cardio and capacity!
He can go short and fast…(if you know, you know)
and long (20-30 min) and slow without issue!
His progress everywhere is truly remarkable.
From fearful to Action
Jeff is an inspiration.
His family has grown.
He inspired every single family member to begin eating better and working out.
His health is better.
He is a happier human being.
His success in the workplace has grown.
His life is world’s better.
Talk about a RIPPLE EFFECT from stepping out of fear and taking action and becoming the committed to the version of himself.
And allowing nothing to stop him.
It all started by taking action to create a better life.

While recovering at home from shoulder surgery, I texted Jeff just how proud of him I am, who he’s become, who he’s positively effected and inspired.
