Karen has lost 35lbs overall and 8% body fat loss since beginning Nutrition coaching in July!
In her 60’s – she shared a similar story – putting everyone and everything before herself most of her life.
And unfortunately these accumulative decisions had cost her.
- Weight gain.
- Poor eating habits / patterns.
- Lower self confidence.
Her son trains at Railroad and wanted to help his mother feel better. He knew with guidance, support and accountability she could begin to create the changes she was expressing she desired to him.
He was the catalyst for her beginning her journey – starting with a consultation. If it was something she felt confident in, move forward – if not – at worst you had a 20-30 min conversation with a coach.
She began Nutrition Coaching after that consultation and in 6 short months – not only has lost a ton of weight, improved her health – she’s improved her confidence, eating habits and feels good in her body again.
All without a single workout at the gym.

- Tell me 1 thing you’re proud of…
Karen: How hard I worked over the holiday’s. I was able to stick to my plan- getting protein in early, taking snacks or healthy meal items with me, and always being prepared whenever I wasn’t at home or didn’t have control over who was cooking the meal.
- How has that helped your everyday routine specifically?
Karen: I feel full right away! I know how important breakfast is so I eat that every morning and it is the best way to start my day. I then have energy at school when I’m working and I feel content throughout the day.
- How has this changed you / your relationship with other people?
Karen: I feel so much better about myself.
My body is changing.
I’m buying clothes that are smaller, I fit into things I never thought I would and that makes me really happy.
And people are noticing!
- What would be your advice to someone who’s struggling with their weight and eating habits?
Karen: I think people just don’t know how easy it can be to find habits and routine that works for them.
If you can get guidance from someone who wants to help, who understands what to do and how to do it all you have to do is put it into practice.
I am a doer and having these tools has made this journey really easy for me. I know it isn’t the same for everyone, but getting started really is the hardest part.
