From Unmotivated To Exercise to 24lb Weight Loss: Sean’s Success Story

Below is the journey of Sean Ashcroft.

“Had another amazing session with Erin.

I’ve gotten to the point where I look forward to working out, which is new for me and I love it!”

How did Sean, a 54 year old graphic designer, who packed on 50 lb of unwanted weight and lost all his motivation to exercise get to the point where he’s looking forward to working out?

Here’s his story.

Sean reached out to us in July of 2024 because in his own words, “I’m tired of feeling this way and I would really like to turn it around.”

When we met in our free consultation, Sean’s goals were clear and his why was strong:

“I can best encapsulate my goals by saying I’d like to work on increasing my strength, improving my flexibility and overall health.

My reasoning really boils down to being healthier as I get older. 

My wife is late 30’s and I want to be around for her in a meaningful way later in life.”

Inspired by his why and learning more about his goals in depth – a plan was built to help Sean achieve his goals.

Sean began 1 on 1 Personal tTraining with Coach Erin.

After his first session he texted me immediately, 

“Shawn! I had a great session with Erin this morning. 

She’s awesome and I’m looking forward to keeping at it with her.

It felt really good to get back into it on so many levels. Thanks!” 

3 weeks into training he texted me 

“The first few weeks have been fantastic!

I’m already feeling better both mentally AND physically!”

I asked him if anything jumped out that feels improved he said,

“I think the biggest thing for me at this point is the mental aspect. The feeling of doing something to change the way I’ve been feeling is really rewarding!”

A few weeks later, checking in on how things were going with his training with Coach Erin, Sean said:

“Amazing! I love everything about it! AND I’m super excited to integrate the nutrition coaching program into my exercise routine!”

At this point, Sean had already lost 10lb with his training with Erin.

In his other 23 hours of the day, he was still struggling with meal prep, hitting his protein goals, overall fatigue and inflammation in joints. 

He spoke about these challenges with Erin and she said she could help him. 

60 days later…now training and working with Erin in Nutrition Coaching…

Sean is down -14lb more pounds (-24 lbs total in 90 days) 

And his body fat has dropped 3% as well!

Just a few months back, Sean was struggling. He had been tired of feeling tired and had no motivation to exercise. He wasn’t eating great on top of this.
